Unleash your inner zombie and get ready to dance! Dallas Does Dance, in collaboration with the Round-Up Saloon and the Dallas Pride Dancers, is summoning a flash mob to perform a variation of the iconic "Thriller" dance at the Oak Lawn Halloween Block Party on Saturday, October 25.

This is your chance to be part of an unforgettable community performance. We are building a friendly, inviting, and safe environment for everyone to participate. Whether you're a seasoned pro or have never danced before, we invite you to join the mob and share in the joy of dance!

WHERE: The Oak Lawn Halloween Block Party (exact location revealed to registered participants on the week of the event)

No dance experience required! We are committed to making dance accessible for all skill levels. The Triple D and Round-Up Saloon instructors will break down the choreography step-by-step at 9 FREE lessons hosted at the Round-Up Saloon. Come to as many as you can!

FAQs

What do I wear? The classic zombie, freshly risen from the dead, is great! Or, if you already had your Block Party sexy look planned for 4 months, wear that. It's a short number, and we want as many people as possible to be in the mob!
Do I have to do zombie makeup? Not at all. But if you're really good at makeup or have Special FX friends and y'all want to offer a little help, chime in on Discord or reach out directly to info@dallasdoesdance.org.
Do I have to attend all the lessons/rehearsals? No, come to as many/few as you want! We'll be doing all 9 lessons even if it's just us instructors practicing on our own. Join either the FB Event or Discord Server above to stay connected with tips and notes about the choreo.
What if I'm not a very good dancer? I mean, can zombies even dance? This event is all about having a fun time with the community. All skill levels are truly welcome.
Can I bring friends? Of course! Raise as many grave neighbors as possible (this isn't the time to be saving those Phoenix Downs).
